Challenge #2:
A middle-aged man suffers a stroke that affects his gait. In physical therapy the doctor stretches his ankle. Is this treatment effective in improving the patient's ankle-knee movement? Perform an analysis of the 3-D kinematics of the ankle using the OPTOTRAK system.

What is a stroke?
A stroke is caused by a loss of blood circulation to parts of the brain due to a blockage. The blockage is usually plaque or a blood clot. A stroke causes loss of brain function. This loss of brain function can neurologically impair gait by causing spasticity in muscles.
